Loskopdam Forever Resort is less than an hour away from the Care Village. We have sponsored this trip for the children on two separate occasions. Housing is austere – a boy’s and a girl’s dormitory, each which houses 36. The children enjoy the opportunity to swim in the two enormous pools, play miniature golf, have a catered breakfast and a catered lunch, and just have some time to get away from the confines of the Care Village. Smiles abound from the children as they walk the beautiful grounds, play on the playground, swim, and enjoy a campfire with s’mores in the evening. The resort offers a large discount for our children to have this opportunity. This is probably the most requested “getaway” by the children.
